wow i didn't know this before but the writers guild is predominately middle aged, white men.

90% of members are white, and only 10% (and decreasing) are minorities.

not saying that whites aren't bad writers necessarily but its a bit tough to write stuff about other ethnicities when you aren't one - man it sucks
